Bodies of Water. This year’s exhibition, Bodies of Water, is directly connected to the DESIGN MIAMI. 23 curatorial theme of Where We Stand, Reflections on Place & Purpose by Anna Carnick. Overfishing, pollution, resource extraction and deforestation have led to disastrous effects on the global freshwater and saltwater ecosystem. Bodies of Water by Aqua Creations brings attention to a number of dying bodies of water, celebrating the beauty of the natural world, and calling attention to the need for greater efforts of preservation and the reversal of destructive human patterns on nature.
