Joseph Walsh Studio was founded by Joseph Walsh in 1999, Country Cork Ireland. Joseph Walsh Studio encompasses a design studio, workshop, gallery and archive, set around an 18th-century farmhouse in the countryside of County Cork on the south coast of Ireland. Art, craft, design and technical innovation merge in the exquisite and expressive pieces that the studio crafts, opening up new possibilities in material and form. Based in Cork, Ireland, Sara Flynn creates sculptural decorative vessels that explore the possibilities of porcelain. Trained at Crawford College of Art & Design, she focuses on thrown forms that are altered during the drying process, pushing the material’s boundaries to achieve unique edges, contours, and shapes. Her work evolves through experimentation, where each vessel is cut, reassembled, and refined, much like a sketch. Flynn's dedication to surface quality leads her to extensive glaze research, ensuring harmony between form and finish. She is represented by Erskine Hall & Coe in London and Galerie de l'Ancienne Poste in France.
