Exhibited at DESIGN MIAMI.PARIS 2023 The 'Hakone' collection is inspired by the Japanese tradition and its precise joinery. The generous sweeping curved top and monolithic legs are reminiscent of the Hakone Shinto Shrine on Lake Ashi. The bench is constructed from concave and convex forms, generously proportioned and tactile. The visual interplay between these curves animates the bench as you move around it. Made in France, each element is produced from the finest European oak. The pieces comes either in back oak or natural oak. The two versions are included in the same limited edition.
