Copper engraved wire with beads and rivets. As with all of his artwork, it’s a meticulously crafted, energetic and complex structure. This basket was made in 1993 in honor of Garrett’s grandmother, Lylah. He released it for sale on the first anniversary of her passing in September, 1994. The text on the basket tells about things he remembered about her when he was growing up, tales she told him, her advice on life, etc. Materials: copper engraved wire, beads rivets.
