Albi Serfaty was born in Jerusalem, Israel, into a highly creative family. From an early age, he was drawn to the hypnotic nature of light. After receiving his first camera and a darkroom at age 13, Albi became a self-taught photographer.
Exhibited at DESIGN MIAMI. 2023 A collaboration between ceramicist Samy D and artist Albi Serfaty, this piece functions as a sculptural work and is adorned with an Aqua Creations radial lamp that is clad in the studio's signature Flame color silk. Holding the world on its shoulders, the globe is a glazed ceramic work that stands on its own four legs in a gold finish. Materials: Ceramic, Gold Plated, Silk, Metal, Acrylic, LED.
