Exhibited at DESIGN MIAMI. 2023 Debuting with the first time for the gallery at Design Miami, mexican multidisciplinary artist Héctor Esrawe Cartela Light Sculpture from his Gear Collection, a series of sculptural lights and tables, draws inspiration from repeating geometric honeycomb cells. Fragmented and rearranged, the artist then creates bronze and aluminum renditions of the textures and aleatory vertical patterns found in the sculptural edges of the material. With a central theme of balancing tradition and innovation, the artist seeks to imbue common forms and materials with new value and purpose in his design approach. Ateliers Courbet will present his first solo exhibition in early 2023. Materials: Blackened Aluminum.
